- Under consideration by the Law Societies of BC & ON
The application of artificial intelligence to transform the legal sector has been a key area of discussion when it comes to innovation in the sector. To date, AI has had an impact in areas such as research, due diligence, document review, translation and predictive analytics. However, alongside these nascent examples of AI’s successful application, the longer term impact remains to be seen. Many argue that AI is not necessarily a panacea for large scale legal process disruption, nor will it put droves of lawyers out of work. More likely – along with other applications – AI will be an important part of the tool kit lawyers use to improve their workflow and service delivery capabilities. On this 60 minute webinar, our presenters will review areas where AI is having a tangible impact in terms of improving their delivery of legal services and adding value to their clients. They will also look at the next areas where they see AI being successfully applied.
